Way to the end of terminal D for American Airlines, the food choices start to get more and more sparse.  That is where you will find Villa pizza.

I ended up ordering a combo meal (#4) containing a Stromboli and a side of two meatballs covered in marinara sauce and a drink for $10 or so.  The food came out item by item and although I was dining in, it would have been nice to have some trays located near where the food is delivered.  I asked the guy handing out food and he pointed me to the garbage can where previous guests had dropped their old dirty trays.  That was disappointing but I located the clean trays at the other end of the counter and grabbed one myself.  A little weak on the service side.

The meatballs and marinara were steamy, well made and tasted fresh.  I was later glad I asked for the extra sauce for the meatballs as I needed it to soften up the hard stale breading on the Stromboli just to eat it.  The Stromboli I was really looking forward too the most and saved it for the end of the meal.  After biting into it, it was clear that it had been sitting, waiting for a customer for quite awhile.  The last bit of the Stromboli was not even edible.  I couldn't even bite into the stale breading.

I visited at a busy time for the airport, 7 pm prime time.  I couldn't imagine coming here when it is slow. If I come back again, I will just order the pizza.

My guy, how you messin' up my main man: cheese pizza? No one messes up cheese pizza, homeboy is a rock. But y'all did it. Y'all did him good. Press F to pay respects to my man cheese pizza. Second of all. Spaghetti and Meatballs. My guy, how? That wasn't edible my dudes. Press F twice for my intestines that are destroyed due to that spaghetti and meatballs.

If you like salt, maybe this is the place for you.  stiffed meat pizza combo was salty as were the side of meatballs.  the stuffed pizza is more like a meat panini so i took the sauce from my meatballs to make it more pizza-like.  it was moderately warm at best too.   I've tried Fridays (TGIF) and that is as awful and the Cuban place nearby looks confusing and overwhelming.  So i don't know what good options there are near D4x would be 1 star but the Caesar dressing was good and left very was fresh and crisp.
